The Ruffnecks program fields teams at 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U and “Seniors” or 18U. The Ruffnecks travel schedule is one of the most aggressive and challenging in the Northeast region. The Ruffnecks receive invitations to most of the top events in the country. Our teams face the top travel programs in high exposure, competitive events. Although our teams can not participate in every event, the program has made an enormous commitment to travel, far more than most other development programs of our kind. Two College Prospect teams the 18U squad, and the 16U squad compete in many of the same events, traveling together for much of the season. The 15U College Development team is comprised of mostly freshmen and younger sophomores. All three of the high school teams are geared to players aspiring to play college baseball. Each year these teams compete at venues such as Clemson University; the University of South Carolina; Wake Forest University; The University of Virginia; Ft. Myers, Florida; Marietta, Georgia; Illinois, Tennessee, Texas, and in tournaments and on college campuses throughout the Northeast.
Meanwhile, The 13U and 14U Ruffnecks play in a combination of Northeast Baseball Alliance (NEBA) competition, as well as in several national tournaments. The 14U Ruffnecks make a considerable leap in the amount of travel and tournament play. The 14U schedule reflects a serious commitment from the program and the players/families to expanding the boundaries of developmental baseball.
