15U Ruffnecks 2017 On Tap for Max Exposure

Team in Nashville, TN

The 2017 schedule for the 15U Ruffnecks provides maximum exposure for players who are primarily in the class of 2020. The season begins in early June when players finish their high school seasons on different time tables.  Accordingly, early June games are often played with combined rosters consisting of available 15s, 16s, and Seniors.  This provides an opportunity for the 15s to play with and against older players.  The season’s tournament and game schedule also consists of competition against 16U to 17U teams, which makes for a challenging summer.  Historically, the 15U Ruffencks spend considerable time on the road.  Their travels are designed to provide a stage for competitive baseball in all the spots where college recruiters follow.

The 2017 schedule features several challenging tournaments at our home, the New England Baseball Complex.  The 15s compete in the Boston Invitational as well as in the 16U and 17U PG Super25 events at the NEBC.  It is a schedule that has very few off days from the beginning of June until the end of July.  Among the highlights of the season is participation in the 15U World Wood Bat Championships in Emerson, Georgia.   The Ruffnecks also visit Nashville, Tennessee for the 16U Music City Classic.  Practice time and development accompany a busy schedule at the NEBC.  Some of the 15U Ruffnecks may be invited to attend the Blue Chips Prospects in early August.  The team also practices and conducts intraquads with the 16U and 17U Ruffnecks.
