13U Ruffnecks Make Strides in Long Season.

The 13U Ruffnecks of 2010 are making progress in their development as baseball players.  With close to 35 games played prior to mid-June, the schedule has been demanding.  And while the challenge of playing such a comprehensive schedule on the big diamond takes a physical toll on our young players, their improvement has been noticeable.  Certainly, we would love to win more games, but the objective of making an intelligent and skilled transition to baseball on the big diamond has been the priority.  The 2010 Ruffnecks are working very hard to improve every day.  The remainder of the summer schedule features primarily tournament action.  Action in the Cape Cod Wood Bat Classic; The Connecticut Bombers Invitational; and the CABA World Series in Indianapolis, Indiana provide good competition for the Ruffnecks program during the summer months.  We look forward to the future development of this Ruffnecks class.  Their enthusiasm, enjoyment of each other, and their passion for baseball are obvious.
